At the start of this lesson,Master LΓΌzu (Master Lu-tsu) reveals a profound cosmic principle: the essence of life is not merely breath and flesh, but the eternally flowinglight-principle (light-principle). However, the ordinary mind is accustomed to grasping outward, like water that has been spilled β energy dissipates entirely in the clamorous sensory world.
The Physics of Direct Experience: Consciousness as a Superfluid State
Spiritual practice is not abstract speculation, but a precise sequence of steps. Through theCirculation of the Light (Circulation of the Light Step), we consciously block the outward leakage of energy. When this inward rotation of consciousness reaches a critical point, scattered energy returns to theWu-chi (wu-chi) matrix, reconfiguring into a tightly structured "Golden Flower."
This transformation is like the phenomenon of superfluidity: when the temperature (discursive thoughts) drops to an extreme low, consciousness loses its friction and gives rise to a "sense of transparency" that transcends the body's bounds. At this point, truth and falsehood no longer depend on scriptural debate, but on the practitioner's inner certainty β as Master LΓΌzu said:"One can tell for oneself whether the water is warm or cold" (One can tell for oneself whether the water is warm or cold). This subjective veridicality is the true starting point of the awakened order.
